Our project partner, Office Principles, delivered a purpose-built 40,800 sq ft office space for Arcadis at 80 Fenchurch Street, creating a tech-enabled environment focused on flexibility, collaboration, and employee wellbeing.

Arcadis is a leading global design and consultancy firm for the built environment, delivering consultancy, engineering, project, and management services throughout the lifecycle of natural and built assets. With 27,000 employees across 70 countries, the company generates €3.3 billion in revenues.

The new space features over 20 different types of workplace environments, from open-plan desks to private workspaces, project areas, and informal meeting areas. A purpose-built innovation area and flexible event space enable agile working, while social and wellbeing zones include quiet libraries, coffee lounges, a winter garden, and wellness rooms.

The project prioritizes sustainability with a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating and follows principles of Fitwel Certification and WELL Building Standards. Smart features are embedded throughout, including environment sensors, touch-free desk booking systems, and individual temperature and light controls. Biophilic design and strategic planting maximize natural light throughout the workspace.

SB Workspace supplied key furniture pieces including meeting room tables, collaborative workstations, quiet working pods, modular storage solutions, wellness room furniture, and flexible event space furnishings designed to support activity-based working.
