Our project partner, Office Principles, delivered a transformational 36,700 sq ft headquarters for Galago Group in Croydon, creating a SKA Gold accredited workspace that connects multiple recruitment brands while offering attractive sublet spaces for future tenants.

Galago Group comprises expert recruitment companies specializing in healthcare, private nursing, life sciences, engineering, and construction. The firm purchased Galago House (formerly Sentinel House) on Brighton Road as a long-term home for its fast-growing brands.

The renovation transformed a formerly cellular building into a visually and acoustically connected space, featuring a spacious central lounge and reception with touchdown areas. A striking first-floor balcony creates energy and buzz in the building’s center, promoting inclusion across teams. New entrance doors and building signage energize the high street frontage.

The project achieved SKA Gold accreditation and improved the building’s energy performance to EPC B through sustainable design choices. Features include LED lighting throughout, extensive biophilia including a prominent moss feature wall, and clever reuse of existing furniture and M&E systems. Floor finishes guide users through the space while maximizing natural light and promoting wellbeing.
