Sykes & Son Limited is an integrated refurbishment and maintenance company with an unparalleled 260-year heritage. Established in 1759, Sykes & Son Limited is London’s oldest independent building contractor.

After 261 years on Essex Street, they were getting ready to settle into their new Bloomsbury head office. Sykes & Sons wanted an environment to attract and retain high-quality staff, to improve collaboration between workstreams, and provide much needed break-out and welfare space. They partnered with SB Workspace to support them in the design and fit-out of their new offices. The design included a new reception area, boardroom, open plan desking and breakout area. We delivered stylish and contemporary office accommodation across the lower ground and 2 upper floors.

They were looking for a timeless modern office design that conveyed the maturity of their brand translate their brand values into office design elements. SB Workspace created a stunning design that included colours that complement the palette of Sykes visual identity, smart storage solutions and the right furniture needed equip a collaborative workspace.
